Recently, when the scientific researchers of Longqi Mountain Nature Reserve carried out daily monitoring work, on the grass leaves by Yujiaping Creek, they photographed a butterfly like a crescent moon butterfly, and after consulting data and consulting experts, it was determined that it was a two-color banded butterfly in the butterfly family, which is a new record species of distribution in the reserve, and so far the butterfly species in Longqi Mountain have reached 317 species.
The bicolor butterfly has a thick lower lip, long antennae, and a hammer-shaped or monocyclic butterfly (above the wings) at the end. There are 5 forewing diameter veins, 1 gluteal vein, and 2 hindwing rump veins, with shoulder veins. The female butterfly has three yellow bands on the back of the wings, and the male has only one distinct white band.
Joy is active in the sun, flying fast and moving quickly. Some have wings that are constantly fanning at rest; some are flying strong and often spread their wings on the leaves. It often sucks nectar or stagnant water, and some species prefer to suck the sap of ripe fruit, the sap of the tree that flows out, or the sap of cow and horse manure. The host plant is dicotyledonous plants of many families.
