Sipadan is the large aquarium, malaysia's only deep ocean island and one of the world's largest diving sites. The island covers an area of about 40,000 square meters, protruding directly from the 600-meter-deep seabed, and the underwater part resembles a chimney, a pillar of power. So on the edge of Sipadan Island, just one more step, the water depth directly changes from 3 meters to 600 meters. Sipadan is a mushroom-shaped marine island. Located around 4 degrees north latitude, it is very close to the equator, but it is very cool. It is known as the "Mecca Sanctuary" of divers all over the world, the "Aquarium of the Gods", and the father of world diving, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, called it "an uninhabited work of art".

The first dive site is Barracuda Point, which has a depth of 10-28 meters and visibility of 10-30 meters, where the water flow is gentle and the underwater terrain is sloped. Arguably the best place in the world to watch a seawolf storm, divers from all over the world come every year to see the shock of a seawolf storm. In general, the sipadan waters have excellent visibility, but occasionally there are large currents. For this dive, you can prepare a stream hook to fix yourself to the cliff and watch the sea wolf storm.

Usually in addition to sea wolf storms, jackfish flocks, bulging parrots, and thousands of swallowfish can be seen flying in front of them. It's exciting to encounter spectacular "sea wolf storms", and it's exciting to imagine people swimming around them, even within their moving circles.

Jack Fish Storm

The fish are largely clustered in cylindrical clusters, resembling storm scenes. The "Jack" of Jackfish Storm is derived from Jackfish. Jackfish is the common name for trevally fish, and because the trevally (especially the six-banded trevally in the trilisk family) particularly likes this cluster, it is called the Jackfish Storm. Fish storms are not unique to the trilis family, and other fish can also do this.

The second dive site is coral garden Coral Garden, which is 10-40 meters deep and has visibility of 10-25 meters, where the water flow is gentle, the underwater terrain is cliffs, and the main creatures here are corals. Corals are home to fish and build a platform on which marine life depends. Sipadan is home to so many fish species that it is inextricably linked to this beautiful hard coral. This coral garden is in very shallow water, the sun gently sprinkles on the coral under the blue water, and countless small fish of various colors patrol through.

Whitetip Shark Avenue

The whitetip shark is also known as the three-toothed shark, so named because the tip of the fin is white. They spend most of their time on the seabed, often resting in reef shelters. They grow slowly, growing only 2 to 4 centimeters a year and up to 210 centimeters long, feeding on fish and squid, harmless to humans, and sometimes stabbing fishermen.

There is a naturally formed cave 15 meters underwater near the Drop off dive site, where the road is complex, there are many branch holes, turtles will occasionally run in to sleep, wake up and want to swim out of the hole to breathe, but can not find the exit, the result is forever left in the hole, turned into a pile of skeletons.

The entrance to the Turtle Cave has a warning sign and is no longer open to ordinary divers after several divers have been buried in the cave. Unless you have a certificate for cave diving, you can arrange to dive here.

Green sea turtle

The green sea turtle is named because of its green fat, its body is large, the outer flat round carapace, only the head and limbs are exposed outside the shell, the body length is 80 to 100 cm, and the weight is 70 to 120 kg (the giant green sea turtle can reach 150 cm, 250 kg).
