The long forest beetle is an important forest quarantine pest, native to southern Europe, northern Africa and the Mediterranean coast, and has spread to all of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, the United States, Japan and other countries and regions. The long forest beetle has wide adaptability and mixed diet, and can infect a variety of pine trees with new logging and weakened trees, which can easily lead to tree death and seriously affect the quality of wood. In addition, the insect is also a vector for the transmission of pine black root disease and blue fungus. Once introduced into colonization, the long-forest beetle will cause great damage to forestry production and forest ecology.

The object of this insect touch is mainly the diseased dead wood or weak wood of pine trees, and the main location is under the epidermis of the root. The city immediately launched the investigation of the small beetle insect situation in Changlin, and 14 towns (streets) carried out investigations at the same time, went deep into the pine forest small class, and checked the healthy pine trees, dead and dying pine trees, and weak trees.

In the future, the city will strengthen monitoring, once the insect situation is found, it will be cleaned up and removed immediately to strictly prevent the spread of insect conditions.
