Shayla Amuack, who lives in Slokan, B.C., recently experienced two horrors.
That night she came home from work and when she walked near the house she saw what seemed to be crouching in the doorway.

At first, she thought it was a dog, but when she looked closer, she was frightened: it was a cougar!
"I was scared crazy," she said, "I knew what I saw, but I wondered if I was hallucinating."
At this time, Shaira's roommate heard a noise and came to check it out, and she quickly shouted, "Don't open the door!" ”
But it was too late, the roommate opened the door, and the cougar broke into Shaira's house.
She quickly called the police, and her roommate quickly escaped, and the two called several neighbors and friends nearby with axes and other weapons to drive the mountain lion.
Not afraid in the face of a group of human mountain lions, they jumped up and down in the house and broke a lot of things, and issued a low roar of threat.
After more than half an hour of confrontation, the cougar left sadly.
Shaira thought it would be over, but she didn't expect the cougar to come back a week later!
This time it appeared on the balcony, and Shaira once again managed to drive the big cat away.
Unexpectedly, two days later, it appeared for the third time in the flower room of Shaira's neighbor.
It's quite persevering...
Maybe the cougar was hungry and came to the human dwelling in search of food.
Hungry beasts are dangerous and easy to hurt.
There have been many cases of mountain lions tearing humans as food.
In June 2016, a pair of twin boys were attacked by a hungry cougar while playing in their yard.
After hearing the screams, the mother quickly rushed out of the room and saw that her son's head had been bitten in the lion's mouth and was constantly struggling.
The mother rushed over, and with the strength and courage of the instinctive explosion, she pried open the lion's blood basin with her bare hands and rescued her son.
The child was rescued, and the mother's hand was covered in blood from the bite.
Police said the mountain lion was still a juvenile and small in size, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable.
In the spring season, the animals also began to move frequently.
Recently, there have been frequent reports of black bear sightings in the Coquitlam area, and the Wildlife Coordination Council has issued a warning to the public.
"The bear has woken up! They came down from the mountains one after another to feed... ”
The police remind the public to pay attention to the timely disposal of kitchen waste and fruit.
Last year, the Gao guilin area received more than 1,000 calls to report wild animals, and most of them were rummaging through garbage.
