The Kings announced today that they have signed with veteran point guard Marcus Williams, the details of which have not been announced, but are expected to be a non-guaranteed training camp contract.
Williams, 31, made his debut in 2006 and previously played in the French league, averaging 8.3 points, 3.4 assists and one steal in nine games. His most recent NBA game was with the Grizzlies in 2009-10, when he averaged 4.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
At present, the King's number one position already has George Hill, De Aaron Fox and Frank Mason.
