80-year-old Wang Yuling still has an extraordinary temperament.
Wang Yuling is a native of Changsha, Hunan Province, born in 1928.
Wang Yuling, who was born in a famous family, received a good family education since she was a child, and was able to recite Tang and Song poems at the age of 3.
In 1946, 18-year-old Wang Yuling was graceful, glamorous, and extraordinary.
That day, Wang Yuling went to the hair salon to do her hair and happened to meet Zhang Lingfu.
At that time, Zhang Lingfu served as the commander of the 74th Division of the 74th Army, with the rank of lieutenant general, and he was full of spirit.
Unexpectedly, Zhang Lingfu was attracted to Wang Yuling at first sight.
When the handsome and tall Zhang Lingfu confessed to Wang Yuling, surprisingly she agreed on the spot.
Wang Yuling's family disagreed.
Helplessly, Wang Yuling was resolute.
At the end of 1946, Zhang Lingfu and Wang Yuling held a grand wedding.
Zhang Lingfu and his 74th Division, when Meng Lianggu was annihilated by our army, Wang Yuling had just given birth to his son Zhang Daoyu not long after.
In April 1949, Wang Yuling took his son to live in Taiwan.
Five years later, after Sun Liren came forward, Wang Yuling's mother and son went to the United States to work and study at the same time.
After graduating from New York University in the United States, Wang Yuling worked during the day to earn money to support her family, and recharged her studies at night.
In 1975, after resigning from the Five Star Hotel, Wang Yuling came to work for American Airlines, where he worked until his retirement in 1996.
After retiring, Wang Yuling and her family returned to the mainland.
At that time, Zhang Daoyu was doing business in Shanghai.
Accustomed to living in Shanghai, Wang Yuling decided to settle there.
In April 2007, Wang Yuling, accompanied by his son, came to the place where Zhang Lingfu died: Meng Lianggu.
In Meng Lianggu, Wang Yuling left a bouquet of flowers and wrote four words: "
Zhang Lingfu has been dead for many years, and Wang Yuling has not remarried.
In Wang Yuling's later years, a reporter interviewed her and asked this question.
Wang Yuling looked at Zhang Lingfu's portrait and said slowly:
People love once in their lives and are loved once at the same time. If there is an afterlife, I still choose this way.
In other words, she still chose Zhang Lingfu and never regretted it.

2008 is Wang Yuling's 80th birthday.
On her birthday, Wang Yuling and her family had dinner at the hotel and invited a special guest.
This guest is Su Yu's second son, Su Hansheng.
