On October 19th, Ludian County held the "Autumn Reading • Books Loud" national reading activity, continued to promote the construction of the "Scholarly Ludian" brand, and further created a good atmosphere for the whole society to love reading, read good books, and be good at reading. The event was hosted by the County New Era Civilization Practice Center, the Propaganda Department of the County Party Committee, and the County Financial Media Center, and co-organized by the Taoyuan Township New Era Civilization Practice Institute, Yiqi Language Arts Center, and Ludian Branch of the Research Vocal Speech College.
At the event site, the collective recitation of "Prosperous China, Strong Country with Me", "Grandma's Paper-cutting", "Facing the Times, Walking with the Motherland" and other reading programs selected by the Yiqi Language Arts Center and the Ludian Branch of the Research Voice and Speech Institute expressed their deep patriotic feelings. The children who participated in the activity came to the stage to recite, and the enthusiasm was high.
The second prize of Yunnan Province's "Love the Mainland's Defense, Rejuvenation of the Country" Speech Contest, the second prize of the Yunnan Provincial Education System's "Look at Photos, Tell Stories" Competition, and the second prize winner of the 6th "Yunling Cup" Chinese Classic Recitation Contest - Xu Qiukai of Zhaotong University explained the recitation skills and commented on the children who recited on stage one by one.
In recent years, Ludian County has attached great importance to the national reading and the environment for the growth of teenagers, and has implemented the special action of "protecting seedlings" to create a good social and cultural atmosphere to protect the healthy growth of teenagers. At the same time, the county continues to innovate and expand the reading position, and polishes the brand of "Scholarly Ludian" through the demonstration of "Four Seasons Reading". Since 2024, reading activities such as "Spring Reading· Books Nourish Children's Hearts" and "Summer Reading: Feeling Honesty" have been organized.
It is understood that Ludian County continues to consolidate the construction of reading positions, up to now, the county has built a total of 99 rural bookstores, 1 nostalgia academy, 2 reading demonstration sites, and the county's rural bookstore publications have a total of more than 128,000 copies, providing high-quality reading resources for the masses, further enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the people, and significantly improving the ability of national reading services.
