Kongtong Mountain is located in Pingliang City, Gansu Province, it overlooks Xi'an in the east, Lanzhou in the west, Baoji in the south, Yinchuan in the north, and its main peak is Horsehair Mountain.
Kongtong Mountain is the fortress of the west out of the pass, and its altitude is about 2,000 meters. There are scenic spots on the mountain called "Twelve Views of Kongtong", and most of them are buildings of the Song Dynasty and Ming Dynasty.
It is named after Kongtong Mountain, so it is the place where the Kongtong clan lives; or because of it, it is one of the sacred places of Taoism; Or because of this, there are many caves in Kongtong Mountain.
On the main peak of Kongtong Mountain, the Taoist gods, the patriarch of the mixed yuan, the king of Jingle, Zhang Sanfeng, and the king of medicine Sun Simiao are enshrined.
