In Hulunbuir Chihong Mining Co., Ltd., you will often see a busy figure, he dresses plainly, speaks simply, and does things neatly. He is Pan Qingyu, a "post-90s" young man, who is currently a technician of the lead plant of Hulunbuir Chihong Mining Co., Ltd. in Inner Mongolia.
In 2012, Pan Qingyu started his career with a vision and dream for the future. In the past 12 years, he has grown from an ordinary skilled worker to today's technical backbone. "Either you don't do it, or you have to do it well!" Pan Qingyu said so and did so.
Be open-minded and eager to learn and grow in the post
At the beginning of his employment, Pan Qingyu made a detailed study plan for himself, showing a strong desire for knowledge and enterprising. During the lunch break, when his colleagues were resting and relaxing, he worked hard to learn professional knowledge; After work, others have already embarked on the journey home or enjoy leisure time, but he rushes to the scene, carefully familiarizing himself with every part and every line of the equipment. He knows that only by having a deep understanding of the equipment can he better meet the challenges of his work.
Whenever the equipment fails, Pan Qingyu is always the first to rush to the scene. His goal is not only to solve the problem, but also to understand the nature of the equipment problem and how to deal with it earlier and more comprehensively. In this way, he continues to gain experience and gradually improve his problem-solving skills.
With the passage of time, Pan Qingyu's theoretical level and knowledge reserve have been continuously improved. In terms of practical operation, with the gradual increase in the number of equipment under management, he is keenly aware of the importance of workshop equipment management optimization, and focuses his learning on this field. In order to better manage the workshop equipment, on the one hand, he actively consulted various professional materials and in-depth studied the operating principles and management methods of the equipment; On the other hand, he humbly consulted with his experienced seniors and drew wisdom and strength from their practical experience.
In continuous learning and practice, Pan Qingyu has realized a gorgeous transformation from a secondary school student who didn't even know electrical components when he first joined the company to a professional and technical personnel who are familiar with the operating principles of various equipment in the factory and can use and maintain. His growth process is the best interpretation of the word "diligence".
Have the courage to take responsibility and struggle at work
Dare to act and be good at action are the distinctive characteristics of Pan Qingyu in his work. He often said, "If you don't take action when you find a problem, you don't find a problem." This sentence is not only his mantra, but also a true portrayal of his work attitude.
In the production work of the crude lead plant, Pan Qingyu found the problem of low frequency of use of the insulated burner fan of Osmet furnace with his keen observation and professional technical ability. After an in-depth analysis, he skillfully channeled the main air duct of the sleeve fan to the outlet of the insulated burner fan, and used the old electric control valve to automatically control it in the DCS control system. This transformation measure enables the insulated burner fan to be shut down for a long time, and only needs the main controller to open the valve on the DCS system to use it normally. This innovation not only saves electricity and reduces the production cost of the enterprise, but also reduces the wear and tear of the fan and prolongs the service life of the equipment.
In 2021, the crude lead plant will increase its production capacity in an all-round way, but at this time, there is frequent positive pressure smoke at the discharge port of the Osmet furnace, which seriously affects the normal smelting of the furnace. In the face of this thorny problem, Pan Qingyu did not flinch at all, with solid professional knowledge and rich practical experience, after careful observation and in-depth analysis, he found that it was the unstable blanking of the disc granulator, which led to the unstable feeding of the Osmet furnace, which caused the furnace to smoke. He thought about it and tried various solutions, and finally came up with a rotary scraper. This innovative design not only prevents the accumulation of material in the hopper, but also greatly improves the problem of positive pressure smoke in the Osmet furnace, which provides a strong guarantee for the stable production of the crude lead plant. In the past three years, Pan Qingyu has focused on equipment inspection and maintenance and equipment management of the whole plant, and is committed to reducing the equipment failure rate and escorting the stable production of the enterprise.
In August 2022, the foam slag of the Osmet furnace erupted, burning the top belt, water jacket temperature measurement cable and other equipment, and the situation was very urgent. In order to resume production in time, Pan Qingyu quickly organized maintenance forces to repair overnight. He led everyone to replace belts, rollers, rollers, cables and other equipment. After a whole night of hard work, all the repair work was finally completed at 8 o'clock the next morning, and the Osmet furnace was successfully put into production.
With the efforts of Pan Qingyu, he has taken the lead in completing a series of problems and transformation tasks, such as the transformation of the control system of the top feeder of the Osmet furnace, the transformation of the smooth blanking of the disc granulator, the improvement of the problem of non-loading of the pulverized coal injection system, the optimization of the pressure fluctuation of the pulverized coal injection system, the environmental smoke control of the crude lead plant, the disposal of on-site emergency situations, and the repair of old and waste. Each of his achievements embodies his wisdom and sweat, and has made important contributions to the development of the enterprise.
Accumulate and make breakthroughs in innovation
In life, Pan Qingyu's biggest hobby is making models of cars and airplanes. When a colleague asked him why he liked making models so much, he always replied with a smile: "I have been interested in cars and airplanes since I was a child, and I especially want to know why they can run and fly, and I didn't learn this major when I grew up, so I started to make models in order to make up for my little regrets, and the more I do it, the more I like it."
Although Pan Qingyu usually assembles airplanes and car models, he has found many similarities with the equipment he usually operates. The similarities in these principles and structures have invisibly improved his practical ability and brought a lot of inspiration to his work.
In 2019, during the equipment debugging process before commissioning, Pan Qingyu found that when replacing the spray gun of the Osmet furnace, the employees had to carry more than 80 kilograms of anti-sway support on their shoulders to stand at the height of the spray gun trolley for installation. Not only is it labor-intensive, but there is also a great safety risk. He decided to find a way to solve the problem, but there was no good idea.
One day, in the process of making a crane model, Pan Qingyu suddenly found that the action of the crane when lifting heavy objects is very similar to the installation of anti-sway support. This discovery inspired him, and after trial and error, he designed the gun sway support hanger. The use of this bracket realizes that one person can complete the installation, which greatly reduces the safety risk and improves the work efficiency.
Pan Qingyu's innovative spirit is not only reflected in this project, but also in his work, he often takes inspiration from the little things in life and applies them to equipment maintenance and transformation. His innovative thinking not only solves many practical problems for the company, but also sets an example for his colleagues.
