As Aion's new pure electric compact car, the AION RT is equipped with a high-end intelligent driving system with lidar, with a maximum range of 650 kilometers. At present, the pre-sale of the new car has begun, and the pre-sale price range is 119,800-169,800 yuan.

The AION RT is officially named "Velociraptor". The AION RT adopts the latest design style of the family, and the body is designed with a large number of curves, which is more rounded than the previous models sold by Aion. According to the official introduction, the LiDAR version of the model is equipped with 27 intelligent hardware, including 126-line variable-focus LiDAR, with NVIDIA Orin-X chip (computing power 254TOPS) and the fourth-generation perception end-to-end deep learning model, which will have L2++ level driving assistance capabilities and support the NDA function of no map in urban areas.

The side of the AION RT has a fastback shape, with blackened front and rear surrounds, side skirts, and exterior mirrors, while the charging port is located on the vehicle's right front fender. The AION RT offers hidden door handles, 18-inch two-tone alloy rims, an all-glass dome, and an official drag coefficient of 0.208.
The wheelbase is 2775 mm
In terms of dimensions, the AION RT has a length, width and height of 4865/1875/1520 mm, and a wheelbase of 2775 mm, which is slightly larger than the AION S (4863/1890/1515 mm, wheelbase 2760 mm). Compared with the Xpeng MONA M03 in the same class (length, width and height 4780/1896/1445 mm, wheelbase 2815 mm), the AION RT is also longer and taller.

At the rear of the Yuehua Mi, AION RT adopts multiple sets of horizontal lines to increase the sense of hierarchy, the taillight groups on both sides are relatively flat, the middle is the "AION" letter logo, and the right taillight has the "RT" logo under it. It is reported that AION RT will be available in seven car colors, including Corona Red, Crystal Purple, Sea Glowing Gray, Moon Rice, Night Shadow Black, Polar White, and Holographic Silver.

The AION RT features a similar interior design to the second-generation AION V, and is available in beige/black, orange/black, and pure black. The interior of the car is covered in a large area of soft interior materials, and details such as the center console, air conditioning vents, steering wheel, and cup holders are dotted with chrome trim strips.
All AION RT models are equipped with a 14.6-inch central control screen, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, and are equipped with GAC's latest ADiGO 5.0 system.
The AION RT is equipped with a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel with a pocket gear shifter, and a wireless charging panel for mobile phones under the central air conditioning vents. In addition, the AION RT has an 11-speaker 5.1-channel sound system with an 8-inch 45Hz subwoofer.
According to the existing official configuration information, the AION RT trunk space reaches 540 liters, and the front seats are equipped with electric adjustment/ventilation/heating as standard.
The AION RT is based on GAC's AEP 3.0 pure electric platform, which uses 400-volt silicon carbide technology and is available in two power versions. Among them, the 520 Zhixiang version and 520 LiDAR version are equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 150 kilowatts, a matching magazine battery capacity of 55.1 kilowatt hours, and a pure electric range of 520 kilometers. The 650 Zhihao and 650 LiDAR versions are equipped with a silicon carbide drive motor with a maximum power of 165 kilowatts, a matching magazine battery capacity of 68.1 kilowatt hours, and a pure electric range of 650 kilometers. It is understood that AION RT supports 3C fast charging, which can replenish 200 kilometers in 10 minutes, and the 30%-80% fast charging time is 18 minutes.
At this stage, GAC Aion's models on sale include AION Y (pure electric compact SUV, guide price range 99,800-145,800 yuan), AION S (pure electric compact car, guide price range 129,900-169,900 yuan), AION V (pure electric compact SUV, guide price range 129,800-189,800 yuan), AION LX (pure electric mid-size SUV, guide price range 286,600-469,600 yuan). Judging from the sales data, in September this year, GAC Aion AION Y sold 14,612 units, ranking first in the brand's sales, followed by AION S and AION V models.

For AION RT, its competitor may point to the Xpeng MONA M03 (starting at 119,800 yuan). Xpeng MONA M03 adopts a pure visual intelligent driving solution without lidar, of which the 620 ultra-long endurance version is equipped with the XPILOT intelligent driving system, with a maximum cruising range of 620 kilometers and a guide price of 129,800 yuan, and the 580 ultra-long endurance Max version is upgraded to the XNGP intelligent driving system, with a maximum cruising range of 580 kilometers and a guide price of 155,800 yuan.
