Later, two more text secretaries were transferred, both of whom graduated from the university as secretaries, and with me, there were 7 people.
I remember that on June 2, the town held a mobilization meeting for the production of three summers and the ban on straw burning, and the town leaders asked me to attend the meeting and make the meeting minutes.
The meeting did not last long, and the final content was that the town organization committee read out the list of personnel of the village organ.
To my surprise and everyone's surprise, I was placed among the people of Bao Village.
I have been working in the office for more than two years, and I have never had a task in Baocun, and even before me, the office staff did not go to Baocun.
Bao Village, Bao Village, anyway, I don't want to stay in the office all day long, drinking tea, reading newspapers, and writing materials.
After going to the village, I can understand the real rural life, understand the rural work, master the first-hand materials in the rural area, and improve my cognitive level and writing level, which is of great benefit.
My village is a village under the jurisdiction of the southern work point, with a total of more than 400 households, more than 1,600 people, and more than 2,400 acres of wheat fields.
The secretary of this village is a middle-aged man in his 50s, who is very honest and works hard.
I took care of the fire prevention in the wheat field in that village for about half a month, and then due to work needs, I returned to the party and government office halfway through.
Today, in the past 20 years, several things that happened in the fire prevention in Baocun at that time have made me unforgettable for the rest of my life.
First, farmers' awareness of fire prevention is weak
On my first night in the village, I and the village cadres bought some big red paper and worked overtime to write fire prevention slogans, such as fire prevention in the wheat field, everyone is responsible, smoking in the wheat field is equivalent to arson, and the responsibility for fire prevention is heavier than Mount Tai.
Early the next morning, we carried out fire prevention work in Suobao Village after the roll call was completed.
I took the slogan and posted it at the intersection, on the big trees on both sides of the road, and on the jars of wheat farmers.
At that time, the combine harvester was not xing, and the wheat harvest in three summers was according to the wheat field half a month in advance, and the wheat harvest was scythered during the day, and the wheat was pulled to the wheat field at night, and the weather was fine the next day.
The wheat field in the village I contracted is not far from the village, and there are more than 400 wheat fields in the whole village.
Based on this, wheat field fire prevention has become the top priority in the work of the village, I and the village cadres are divided into sections, to promote the importance of wheat field fire prevention to farmers, go to the village to help farmers pull water tanks, carry water, so that there are water appliances in the field, water appliances have water, and every family has a person responsible for fire prevention.
Many peasants do not understand our approach, believing that we are engaging in formalism, meddling in our affairs, and feeding ourselves to our fill.
However, even in this case, the village cadres and I still went from house to house to inspect the implementation of the water equipment in the wheat field, and every night when we returned home, it was more than 10 o'clock in the evening.
We were guarding the wheat fields, and another group of village cadres were guarding the wheat fields for fire prevention, and they and several key militiamen patrolled the wheat fields in several sections of the village day and night.
Our actions have finally won the understanding and support of the villagers.
Second, it is not easy for village cadres
On weekdays, many people think that village cadres are redundant officials in rural areas, and that they are not as busy with the public as they are with themselves all year round, and they have to eat and drink and receive salaries.
Actually, I don't think that's the case during the half month of the fire prevention in Baocun.
After the town held the Sanxia production mobilization meeting attended by the village secretary, director and clerical cadres, the work point then held a meeting attended by the branch secretary to deploy specific work and tasks.
In order to put pressure on the cadres of Bao Village, the town collected 1,000 yuan from each village cadre and the secretary of the village branch.
A one-vote veto system was introduced.
Since then, the village cadres, from the secretary to the leader of the villagers' group, have a job to do, and each one has a task.
The secretary grasps the work on the surface, and the village director and the team leader refine to the household, the scene, and the plot.
In this way, the cadres in the village have devoted all their minds to fire prevention, and when the wheat at home is ripe, they can't take care of cutting it, and the family has cut the wheat, so they don't have time to pull it out.
Every three summers, the village cadres tend to harvest wheat at the latest, and corn is at the end.
The most painful thing for the village cadres is that the farmers below do not understand, they think that the wheat stubble is burned, the insects are burned to death, the ground is smooth, the corn is easy to grow, and a lot of money can be saved for spraying, as for environmental pollution, that is, three or two days, how much chaos can occur.
As a result, some peasants complained on the surface that the village cadres should not be so rigid in their work, but behind the scenes they scolded the village cadres for being unkind, and some even sang against the village cadres to exert pressure on the village cadres.
There are also the above inspections, which must also be carefully prepared. Whether the slogans are posted properly, whether there is water in the wheat field, whether the responsible person in the area is in place and sticks to his post, etc.
If they do not do the same well, they will criticize and report on them, all of which will make the village cadres disheartened, tired, and negative in their work.
Fifteen days later, due to work needs, I returned to the town party and government office and started my work again.
The experience of fire prevention in Baocun Village made me remember it for a lifetime.
Three, the fire burned to the doorstep
I remember that it was the end of the fire prevention in Sanxia, and the town had just finished the scheduling meeting, and the town leaders asked the town and village cadres to further strengthen their leadership, improve measures, and do a good job in the fire prevention and burning ban in the wheat field.
Who knew that on the night of the end of the meeting, a fire broke out in a village along the highway.
The main leaders of the town were on duty in the town that day, and immediately rushed to the scene to direct the fire extinguishing after discovering the situation.
At night, the wind rose, the fire borrowed the wind, the fire soared into the sky, and when I walked to the scene, it was really a sea of fire.
The fire took advantage of the wind and burned vigorously to the plots near the houses in the village.
The town secretary used the loudspeaker in the village to direct the fire extinguishing in the office of the two village committees, mobilized the cadres and the masses to work together, went out of the house, and used the tools available to carry out fire extinguishing and self-rescue.
After hearing the announcement, men, women and children in the village rushed to the scene of the fire, some carrying water, some holding brooms, and some holding shovels, to defend their homes and carry out fire extinguishing and self-rescue.
After the district learned of the situation, it immediately mobilized three firetrucks that were on standby, rushed to the fire, and carried out rescue.
Due to the effective command, the cadres and the masses worked together to extinguish the train, and the fire was brought under control, and the whole village breathed a sigh of relief.
A week later, the secretary of the village branch was suspended for inspection, and the district instructed the town to write a written inspection, circulating criticism throughout the district, and the secretary and the town mayor were also dealt with.
