Wen Peng (1498-1573), known as Shoucheng, was a native of Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu), and was the eldest son of Wen Zhengming. He is one of the most famous seal carvers in the Ming Dynasty, and He Zhen is called "Wen He", and is regarded as the founder of the Ming and Qing literati seal carving.
