Li Zhisheng said that due to historical reasons, this 160-acre village collective orchard base was leased out in the 90s of the 20th century at a price of 6,400 yuan per year, and the lease period was as long as 30 years. Earlier this year, the land lease contract was approaching its expiration date, and the town government finally reached a settlement with the contractor in May, and the contractor terminated the operation early on July 31 and withdrew from the base.

However, the orchard left to Yawang Village at that time was very messy due to neglect in recent years, with dead vines and overgrown weeds. "We have invited some interested contractors to inspect and evaluate in advance, and they often want to lower the transaction price." Liu Zhixin, the leader of the rural revitalization team and the first secretary of the village, said frankly that offline communication is more authentic and credible in dealing with the business of village collective land leasing, but due to factors such as poor traffic and information, there are fewer contractors to choose from, and it is difficult to carry out price negotiation.

After learning about the difficulties of Yawang Village, the Party Committee and the town government of Qifang Town believed that the best way to solve the problem was to let the land "touch the net", so they guided Yawang Village to connect with the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Baishali Autonomous County and the Baisha Rural Property Rights Trading Center, and use the platform of the Baisha Rural Property Rights Trading Center under construction to carry out online bidding.

Liu Zhixin said that under the guidance of multiple departments, the Yawang Village Rural Revitalization Task Force quickly completed the collection and sorting of videos, pictures and related information of the land. The auction took 8 hours and 20 minutes, went through 94 rounds of bidding, and achieved a premium of 103%. "I just stared at the computer screen and watched many customers keep raising their prices, and the auction price has more than doubled from 160,000 yuan a year to 326,000 yuan a year." As soon as he talked about this auction, Li Zhisheng was excited, and the village committee has signed a lease contract with the winning bidder, which will bring an increase of 7,564,830 yuan to Yawang Village in 20 years.
