At present, among the 19 sound stations in the first phase of Yangzhou Film and Television Base, including 10,000 square meters of studio groups and 8,000 square meters of groups, etc., the civil structure has been capped, and the steel structure is being installed, which is expected to be completed and accepted and put into use next year.

Yao Deyi introduced that yangzhou film and television base plans to build an 8,000-square-meter water drama shooting center, including indoor water feature pool, indoor character pool, indoor lazy river and outdoor water feature wave making river, to meet the requirements of various film and television water and underwater shooting.

Lu Huiling said that a number of domestic directors have said that due to the high cost and low utilization rate, there is currently no high standard underwater studio in the domestic film and television base, which has brought difficulties to the work of shooting water dramas in many film and television works. Yangzhou Film and Television Base has invested a lot of manpower, material and financial resources to build a high-standard water shed, which can be described as a long-term vision and places expectations on the future development prospects of the water shed.
There are 15 studios in the Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park, but there are not many studios of super-large scale like Yangzhou Film and Television Base. Lu Huiling and Chen Jie said that Wuxi National Digital Film Industry Park and Yangzhou Film and Television Base have their own advantages, and hope that the two places can develop together and cooperate for win-win results in differentiated competition in the future.
