After 2019's sandbox-style game MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, developer Piranha Games is poised to bring fans the new title they wanted, MechWarrior 5: Horde, which will bring players a completely new linear narrative-driven mecha action experience. Ahead of the launch, the developers showed off a new trailer to give another look at what the game will offer.
A grand campaign driven by a cinematic narrative that makes the most of the BattleTech universe and its backstory is clearly something fans have been waiting for. This launch trailer for MechWarrior 5: Horde is a great example of this. From the characters to the action unfolded, to the backstory scattered throughout, every minute of the trailer draws players into the game to experience it for themselves.
MechWarrior 5: Horde launches October 17 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and will also be available via Game Pass at launch.
