The theme of "Sun and Moon Glory" is a simple four words but far-reaching meaning, which contains the most gorgeous and profound natural scenes in the universe. The sun rises and the moon sets, and the brilliance flows, which is not only the most intuitive aesthetic expression of nature, but also a vivid portrayal of the philosophical idea of "the unity of heaven and man" in traditional Chinese culture. In the exhibition, "Sun and Moon Glory" is endowed with multiple interpretations: it is not only the artists' profound reflection on the grand themes of the universe, nature, and life, but also their unique interpretation of the collision and integration of Eastern and Western philosophies and cultures through the language of art. In the "black, gray and white" exhibition space, each work seems to be a reflection of the sun and moon, telling the story of the universe, life, human nature and nature with its unique form, color and artistic conception.

The exhibition will focus on the three chapters of "Heaven, Earth and Man", and comprehensively show the diverse aspects and profound connotations of contemporary art through the works of nearly 60 well-known artists from around the world. Different from the Western ideology of natural realism, Chinese philosophical ideology has a grand view of heaven, earth, time and space and development. In the chapter "Heaven", the artists use the sun, moon and stars as inspiration, using the changes of light and shadow, color and form to outline the immensity and mystery of the universe. In the chapter "Earth", the artists' protagonists of the paintings, trees, mountains, and natural creatures show the beautiful vision of harmonious coexistence between man and nature through delicate brushstrokes and unique perspectives. In the chapter "People", the artists focus on the complex aspects of human society, explore the complex relationships between man and self, man and nature, and man and society, and convey a deep insight into life, human nature and society in the form of art.

It is worth mentioning that this exhibition also emphasizes the collision and integration of Eastern and Western philosophies. Through in-depth cooperation with the School of Philosophy of Fudan University, the exhibition not only presents the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western artists in artistic expression, but also digs deeper into the philosophical ideas and cultural values behind these differences. Against the backdrop of changing global forms, the exhibition highlights the importance of Eastern philosophical perspectives in reflecting on the relationship between artists and the world, and encourages the audience to examine and understand artistic practices and social realities in different cultural contexts with a more open and inclusive mind.
