On the afternoon of October 14, the "Foreign Economic and Trade Institutions Look at Shanghai - Into Hongkou" activity co-sponsored by the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Shanghai Chamber of International Commerce and the Hongkou District People's Government was held in the theater of Lane 8 of Jinchao. The event invited more than 20 heads of foreign economic and trade institutions in Shanghai, including Serbia, Finland, Japan, Italy, and United States, as well as nearly 100 people from the district's open government affairs observers, enterprise representatives, and chambers of commerce to participate. Yang Dongsheng said that Hongkou, as the central urban area of Shanghai, has unique geographical advantages and innovative resources, and the North Bund has become a new highland for foreign-funded enterprises to land and gather. The Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Shanghai Chamber of International Commerce, as institutions with trade and investment promotion activities as their main functions, have always adhered to the purpose of serving the country's foreign economic and trade strategy, serving Shanghai's expansion and opening up, and serving enterprises to expand their markets.
At the scene of the discussion and exchange, the District Commission of Commerce, the District Investment Promotion Office, the District Culture and Tourism Bureau, and the person in charge of the North Sichuan Road Street respectively introduced the regional business environment policies and investment opportunities, Shanghai-style culture, and the promotion and development of the North Sichuan Road business district.
After the meeting, the delegates carried out a Shanghai-style Citywalk along North Sichuan Road, visited landmark buildings such as Jinchao Lane 8, listened to the introduction of the development and operation of the operating party Bingang Commercial Center, and felt the historical and cultural texture and economic and social development of Hongkou up close.
In recent years, Hongkou has been committed to building an international and diversified policy open service system, and giving full play to the important role of policy traction through close cooperation and in-depth integration between the government and social organizations, chambers of commerce, parks and other multiple subjects. It is understood that this event is another attempt by the Hongkou District Government to innovate the mode of open government affairs and social cooperation.
