This exhibition is one of the series of activities of the 2024 Chinese Mazu Cultural Carnival, which will be exhibited in the form of a joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting works by artists Wu Wenzhong and Yang Wenhai, covering Mazu portraits, Mazu cultural poems, Mazu cultural inscriptions, etc.
Wu Wenzhong's works are solemn and full of charm, and he is good at using delicate brushstrokes and rich colors to depict the solemnity and kindness of Mazu, which is full of artistic appeal. Yang Wenhai's calligraphy works are good at using different brushstrokes and ink colors to express different emotions and artistic conceptions. The works of the two artists complement each other perfectly, and both convey the admiration for the Mazu spirit of "virtue, kindness, and great love", bringing both visual and spiritual enjoyment to the audience.
The special children's calligraphy and painting exhibition area in the exhibition is also particularly eye-catching, and the front of the gallery of the art museum is full of various paintings created by children, one by one around Mazu and the marine culture, full of childlike fun and innocence, but also conveys the children's love and reverence for Mazu.
It is reported that this year is the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the China Mazu Cultural Exchange Association, hosted by the China Mazu Cultural Exchange Association, and hosted by Fujian Pictorial, Xianyou Mazu Cultural Exchange Association, China Mazu Cultural Exchange Association Rong Media Center and Putian Mass Art Museum to host the 2024 China Mazu Cultural Carnival.

The "Putian Truck Fifth Anniversary Card Exhibition" exhibition area displays more than 1,000 classic card sets of various eras with the theme of Mazu, great people, natural scenery, etc., and the card types cover telephone cards, bank cards, travel cards, train tickets, etc., with a wide variety and various forms. Among them, the three card sets of Mazu culture phone card, Mazu image bank card, and Mazu temple transportation card focus on introducing Mazu temples, Mazu statues, Mazu legends, Mazu festivals, Mazu offerings, Mazu banquet dishes and Mazu intangible cultural heritage, etc., to spread Mazu culture from all aspects of Mazu beliefs and customs.
"Mazu IC card, bank card, bus card, these Mazu-themed functional cards with the imprint of time, a long moment brought us back to twenty or thirty years ago, some cards are still used now, Mazu has always accompanied us in life." Ms. Li, a member of the audience, said emotionally that the small card not only condenses the essence of Mazu culture, but also is a unique carrier to publicize and promote Mazu culture, which is rich in local characteristics.
According to the organizers, the "Global Calligraphy and Painting (Card) Ode to Mazu Exhibition" will last for one month, aiming to promote Mazu culture through different carriers, promote the development and inheritance of calligraphy and painting art, and provide the public with a platform for Mazu cultural exchanges and mutual learning, so that citizens and tourists can further feel the charm of Mazu culture, inherit and develop local characteristic culture.
