At the beginning of the press conference, Musk personally took a test ride on the Cybercab to the scene, and the live broadcast footage showed that the Cybercab doors opened like butterfly wings, with angular edges and stainless steel finishes.
In a follow-up speech, Musk said that Tesla officially launched a driverless taxi called Cybercab and a driverless Model Y. It is reported that the Cybercab has no steering wheel and pedals, the cost of travel is reduced to 5-10 cents per mile, and the total cost is less than $30,000, and it will be put into production in 2026 and sold to the public.
Musk also said that Tesla is expected to launch unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities in Texas and California next year; Robotaxi equipped with FSD is about 10 times safer than human driving, which can make the car safer, so that everyone can use the same time in the car as the mobile phone, which is pleasant, enjoyable and safe.
After the press conference, Musk also left in Cybercab, and some X users posted a live video:

The live video also shows that the audience is in high spirits:
Earlier on Thursday, Musk responded positively to the opinion of an X user, arguing that it was reasonable to launch a two-seat robotaxi, as most of the vehicle mileage in the United States is single or double occupancy.
On the eve of the launch event, Musk retweeted the Robotaxi poster on X and said that the event "will go down in history" or become "the biggest event in the company's history."
