preface
Hanlu is the seventeenth of the 24 solar terms and the fifth solar term of autumn. There are two solar terms with the word "dew" in the 24 solar terms, one is the white dew before the autumn equinox, and the other is the cold dew after the autumn equinox. White dew is the beginning of hot to cool, cold dew is the transition from cool to cold, these three solar terms are connected, recording a period of cold and warm changes in summer and autumn.
In the cold and dew season, the temperature gradually decreases, and the temperature difference between morning and evening increases. For patients with lumbar disc herniation, the cold in the lower back will directly affect the blood circulation in the lower back, resulting in vasoconstriction and muscle spasm, which in turn increases the pressure on the intervertebral disc and aggravates symptoms such as low back pain and numbness in the lower limbs.
The elderly are often the high-risk group of lumbar disc herniation, and they often have problems such as degeneration of bones and joints and lack of qi and blood. During the cold season, due to the drop in temperature and cooler weather, elderly patients are more likely to experience symptoms such as waist soreness, flashback, numbness or soreness in the lower limbs. These symptoms not only affect their quality of daily life, but can also trigger other complications such as falls, fractures, etc.
Therefore, in order to cope with the impact of cold dew, especially for lumbar diseases such as lumbar disc herniation, we need to change some dietary habits and living habits, such as:
- Increase your intake of warm foods
- For example, these foods have the effect of dissipating cold in the warmth, helping to dispel the cold in the body and warming the spleen and kidneys.
- Choose warm foods
- Such as so on, it can restore yang energy and improve the body's resistance.
- Drink plenty of nutritious soups
- Such as etc., it can not only provide rich nutrition, but also help warm up the body and strengthen the body to resist the cold.
You can also do some appropriate exercises:
- Choose the right way to exercise
- Such as boxing, these exercises help to adjust the balance of yin and yang in the body, enhance the function of the spleen and kidneys, while increasing blood circulation and improving immunity.
- Pay attention to the details of the movement
- 。 Add clothes in time before and after exercise to prevent the invasion of wind and cold. When exercising, it is necessary to be fully prepared for activities, such as etc., to avoid sports injuries.
Of course, we also need to pay attention to the daily protection:
- Keep your waist warm
- Add clothing in time, especially the waist and lower limbs to keep warm.
- Avoid sitting and standing for long periods of time
- Staying in the same position for a long time will increase the burden on your lower back, so you should change your posture or take a break at the right time.
- Maintain a good routine
- Avoid overexertion and get plenty of rest to help restore physical strength and strengthen immunity.
