In recent years, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has been committed to promoting the synergy between skilled talents and industrial development, and continuously improving the skill level and service quality of catering practitioners by organizing subsidized training, vocational skills competitions and new apprenticeship training projects for enterprises. The joint participation of enterprises, training institutions, industry associations and high-skilled talent training bases in the zone has also injected vitality into the development of the catering industry.

In order to reduce the burden on enterprises, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has implemented a training subsidy policy, giving a subsidy of 600 yuan/person/time to catering enterprises participating in the training. Since 2020, Golden Arches has carried out subsidized vocational skills training for more than 3,000 people, and has received a total of more than 190 yuan in subsidies, effectively alleviating the employment pressure of enterprises. The person in charge of Golden Arches Training said: "The subsidized training policy of the human resources and social security department has effectively alleviated our employment pressure, allowing us to have more initiative to develop targeted and practical staff training courses to improve employees' job skills. At the same time, online and offline training methods have also further improved the convenience and efficiency of enterprises to carry out training. ”

This year, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has further optimized the subsidy process, accelerated the speed of approval and disbursement, and improved the satisfaction of enterprises. So far, nearly 4 million yuan of subsidies have been disbursed, benefiting 28 enterprises and more than 6,000 individuals.

At the same time, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau also pays attention to innovation, and through activities such as the Chinese Food Innovation and Creativity Competition, it combines traditional and modern technologies to stimulate the innovation potential of the catering industry and enhance the regional cultural attractiveness and competitiveness.

In terms of talent training, the Huangpu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau encourages high-skilled talent training bases to cooperate with vocational skills training institutions, and adopt the model of dual teachers and apprentices between enterprises and schools to carry out new apprenticeship training projects. The Municipal Tourism Industry Association, in cooperation with the Huangpu Vocational Skills Training School in Huangpu District, Shanghai, is training 145 apprentices to strengthen the construction of skilled talents in the catering and hospitality industry. Zhang Yichun, principal of Huangpu Vocational Skills Training School in Huangpu District, Shanghai, said: "This new apprenticeship training is of great significance for strengthening the construction of skilled talents in the catering and hotel industry and comprehensively enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.
