Liu Xiaokang
Mr. Wu Changshuo's hometown of Anji County, Zhejiang Province has a long history, and was the main distribution area of Wuyue culture during the Shang and Zhou dynasties. During the Qin and Han dynasties, it was one of the important administrative regions in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. On the Pingchuan River, where the mountains and rivers are clear, there are still the ruins of the ancient city of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. The ancient villages and streets are interwoven into a beautiful picture.
Exhibits
In order to commemorate the 180th anniversary of Mr. Wu Changshuo's birth, the colleagues of Pegatron Printing Society carried forward the spirit of Pegatron and showed the natural beauty and humanistic customs of Anji through the unique artistic carrier of seal carving. In the process of creating these works, colleagues from the Printing Society went deep into various parts of Anji, visited places of interest and historical sites, and experienced the historical precipitation and cultural heritage there.
The members of the club selected Anji's natural scenery such as Jiangnan Tianchi, Longwang Mountain, and Dahan Seventy-two Peaks, as well as cultural landscapes such as Dusong Pass, Lingfeng Temple, and China's Dazhuhai, which reflected the natural scenery of Anji in every inch, and integrated their charm and culture into one, and engraved in every square inch. Integrating modern aesthetics and creative concepts, each seal not only has a profound cultural connotation, but also loses a modern atmosphere.
Through the creation and dissemination of these seals, more people can understand Anji, the former residence of Wu Changshuo, love Anji and go to Anji for sightseeing. (Photo courtesy and contribution of Jinou Art Institute)
