On the evening of September 26, the first China Film Producers Honor Ceremony, sponsored by the China Film Producers Association, the Propaganda Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Organizing Committee of the Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Fair, was held in Guangzhou International Media Port. As one of the major events of the Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Fair, the festival gathered elite filmmakers from all over the country.
That night, 1,000 drones took off in Haixinsha Park on the north bank of the Pearl River to congratulate the convening of the 2024 Guangzhou Cultural Industry Fair and the Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Fair. The drone also forms a film pattern that pays homage to the filmmaker.
The ceremony released a list of 10 "Top Ten Film Producer Units" and 12 "Excellent Film Producer Units" to pay tribute to the "helmsman" of the producers.
Zeng Xiaomin, the leading actor of the Cantonese opera film "Mrs. Zhengguo", sang the theme song of the film - the Cantonese song "One Heart in the World". The movie "Overseas Child" episode "I Love You China", as well as the familiar classic song "My Motherland and Me" by the Chinese people, were also sung at the grand ceremony to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China.
The Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Trade Fair will be held from September 27 to 29 in Area A of the Canton Fair Complex. The fair aims to build a public-oriented, market-oriented and international platform for exchange and cooperation in the film industry, and promote the high-quality development of China's film industry.
