On September 24, the Chinese Embassy in Oman held a grand reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Wang Xuhong, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy, and Mohsin, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines of Oman, led a government delegation composed of members of the National Committee, members of the Consultative Council, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, friendly personages from all walks of life in Azerbaijan, diplomatic envoys of various countries in Azerbaijan, overseas Chinese and representatives of Chinese-funded institutions, a total of about 500 people attended the ceremony.
In his speech, Chargé d'Affaires Wang reviewed the development achievements of the People's Republic of China over the past 75 years, focused on the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and stressed that China will further deepen reform in an all-round way and promote Chinese-style modernization, which will provide new opportunities for all countries, including Oman. China is willing to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with Oman in various fields and push bilateral relations to a new level.
The atmosphere of the reception was friendly, warm, festive and solemn. Overseas Chinese, Chinese-funded enterprises and Oman friends in Azerbaijan jointly performed a wonderful cultural program and won bursts of applause. The guests praised China's development achievements and wished greater development of the friendly and cooperative relations between Argentina and China.
