On the occasion of the Double Ninth Festival, the garden residential area of Caojing Town has jointly paired up with the unit to carefully prepare Chinese herbal foot bath bags, sachets and gifts such as mint, perilla and cassia tea for the elderly groups over 90 years old and living alone in the district, and these Chinese herbs come from the "Six Mu Garden".

It is understood that in June this year, the garden residential area took the construction of "clean and beautiful homes" as the starting point, and "managed" a wasteland covering an area of about six acres of "leftovers" to create a "six-acre garden" that residents enjoyed, planted wormwood, perilla, motherwort, mint and other varieties of Chinese herbal medicines, and invited 16 paired units to claim the "responsibility field" of the "six acres of garden" and cultivate Chinese herbal medicine plants by themselves.

September is the ripe harvest period of Chinese herbal medicine in the "Six Mu Garden". The garden residential area organized volunteers to harvest perilla, cassia seeds and other Chinese herbs in the "Six Mu Garden". "The Double Ninth Festival is coming, we want to hurry up and pack all these Chinese herbs and send them to our old people here as soon as possible!" After the harvested herbs have been dried, enthusiastic volunteer Li Pinhua and her partners gather to stuff wormwood and perilla into dust bags, seal them and pack them, turning stacks of Chinese herbs into beautifully packaged Chinese herbal foot bath bags. In addition to this, Chinese herbal medicine sachets are also sewn. Li Pinhua said that he participated in the planting, joined the harvesting team in the later stage, and now is here to help pack, and he feels that it is particularly meaningful to finish these things before the Chung Yeung Festival.

The "Six Mu Garden" has become the "back garden" of the community, allowing community residents to share the fruits of social governance, and this initiative also allows the elderly in the jurisdiction to really feel the care and warmth of the community.
