Recently, the traffic police brigade of the Jingyuan County Public Security Bureau, together with multiple departments, went deep into the truck sales enterprises in the jurisdiction to carry out special inspections of "large tons and small standards" and illegal modification of trucks.
During the inspection, the police actively publicized the significance of carrying out the rectification of key vehicles, and carried out inspections around the illegal modification of trucks, the replacement of cargo boxes, tanks and other curb weights of "large tons and small standards" and the illegal acts of vehicle steeplechasers and flat plates reserved for heightening and installing steeplechase components. Reviewed the main qualifications of the operator and the sales units to be sold truck product dimensions, cargo boxes (compartments), tires and other parts and devices that are easy to be illegally modified, at the same time, urge the truck sales units to implement the main responsibility, strictly prohibit the sale of vehicles that do not meet the standards, strictly prohibit the provision of convenience for illegal modification of vehicles, and strictly prohibit participation in and assistance in illegal modification.
In order to completely eliminate the potential safety hazards caused by illegal modification and "large tons and small standards" vehicles, the traffic police brigade of the Jingyuan County Public Security Bureau will strengthen normalized supervision and cooperation between departments, further increase publicity, give full play to the supervision function, and continue to implement the law enforcement inspection of illegal modification of trucks as a key task, and severely crack down on illegal modification of trucks and other illegal acts.
