On September 23, with a long sound of bagpipes, the 83,871 trains loaded with coal slowly drove out of Jingbian East Station of Haoji Railway and headed south to Xiangzhou North Station in Hubei Province, marking that since 2024, the cumulative number of freight trains of Haoji Railway has exceeded 20,000, and the advantages of energy transportation channels have been further highlighted.
With a total length of 1813.5 kilometers, Haoji Railway starts from Inner Mongolia Haole Baojinan Station in the north, passes through seven provinces (autonomous regions) of Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi, and ends at Jiangxi Ji'an Station.
Since the beginning of this year, China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has thoroughly implemented the spirit of the fourth meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Commission, continued to promote the reform of freight organization, optimized the transportation structure, innovated the marketing model, opened up the freight market, and provided a solid guarantee for the volume of Haoji railway transportation. At the beginning of this year, the Xi'an Railway Logistics Center was established, and a three-level marketing system of "freight department, logistics center, and sales department" was established, and customer symposiums were held regularly, and key coal enterprises were visited to gain an in-depth understanding of customer transportation needs. Refine the customer service plan, establish a customer service "one enterprise, one book", designate customer representatives, do a good job in daily plan acceptance, empty vehicle application, transportation capacity guarantee and other services point-to-point, coordinate and solve difficult problems, and improve service quality and transportation efficiency.
At the same time, in order to improve the relief function of the Haoji Railway, China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. gave full play to the coordination and linkage between the Haoji Railway trunk line and various branch lines, and built and opened the Yanyu liaison line of the Baoxi and Haoji Railways to realize the interconnection between the two major coal transportation channels. Since the opening of the liaison line on May 12 this year, more than 800 freight trains have been transported in a roundabout way, which has effectively alleviated the pressure on the transportation organization of Jingbian East Railway Station and improved the transportation efficiency. As the largest hub station at the container end of Haoji Railway, Jingbian East Railway Station currently receives and departs more than 130 pairs of trains per day, and its transportation capacity has been greatly improved.
As the operation and management unit of Haoji Railway, the Yan'an Operation and Maintenance Section of China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. strengthens production organization and coordination, accelerates vehicle turnover and empty car use, and makes every effort to improve the quality of transportation supply according to the needs of key coal enterprises in the pipeline. At the same time, priority will be given to the organization of air distribution, priority organization of loading, and priority organization of receiving and sending of 10,000-ton heavy-haul trains of Haoji Railway to improve the efficiency of single-trip transportation. Since the beginning of this year, this section has refreshed the highest single-day loading record four times, with an average of 52 trains per day, a year-on-year increase of 5%.
In order to do a good job in the locomotive traction work of Haoji Railway, the Yan'an Locomotive Depot of China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has continuously enriched the locomotive crew team to ensure sufficient personnel; Pay close attention to the operation of key links such as 10,000-ton heavy-haul trains, long downhill ramps and difficult sections, and improve the operation level of crew members through strengthening training and other methods to ensure safe and stable transportation.
In order to do a good job in the vehicle maintenance work of Haoji Railway, the Yulin Depot of China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has made every effort to strengthen the on-site inspection force, and implemented double-group simultaneous technical inspection operations for 10,000-ton heavy-haul trains, so as to compress the technical inspection and stop time of the train and improve the passing efficiency. Since the beginning of this year, the number of single-day technical inspections in this section has broken the record high 13 times, and the total number of technical inspections has increased by 5.4% over the same period last year.
Since its opening on September 28, 2019, Haoji Railway has sent more than 337 million tons of coal, providing sufficient transportation capacity guarantee to ensure energy supply in Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi and other regions and reduce logistics costs for the whole society.
