Another vice president of a major state-owned bank announced his resignation!
On the evening of September 18, China Construction Bank announced that due to work transfer, Li Min had submitted his resignation to the board of directors of China Construction Bank Corporation and resigned as vice president of the bank.
CCB said that Li Min confirmed that he had no disagreement with the bank's board of directors, that there were no other matters to notify shareholders, and that he promised to strictly abide by trade secrets in accordance with the law. Li Min expressed his sincere gratitude to the directors, supervisors and senior management of CCB for their support and assistance, and wished CCB a prosperous career.
CCB said the board of directors expressed its gratitude to Li Min for his contributions to CCB during his tenure.
According to public information, Li Min was born in May 1971 and is a Chinese national. Li Min graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in July 1993 with a bachelor's degree in economics. In June 2002, he graduated from Wuhan University with a master's degree in economics.
In terms of work experience, Li Min joined CCB as early as 1993 and has worked in the Planning and Finance Department and Office of CCB Dongguan Branch, Guangdong Branch, Guangzhou Yuexiu Branch, and Human Resources Department of Guangdong Branch.
In May 2010, Li Min was appointed as the assistant to the president of the Guangdong branch of China Construction Bank, and since then, he has successively served as the vice president of the Guangdong branch, the president of the Hebei branch, and the general manager of the human resources department of the head office. Since 2014, Li Min has also served as a non-executive director of China Construction Bank (Asia). From July 2019 to December 2022, he also served as the Executive Vice President of CCB Training Center.
In August 2023, the board of directors of CCB deliberated and approved the proposal to appoint Li Min as the bank's vice president. In September of the same year, the State Administration of Financial Supervision and Administration approved Li Min's qualifications, and Li Min was officially appointed as the vice president of CCB, and has been in office for about one year.
On September 2, CCB held its 2024 interim results conference. At the meeting, Li Min once said on the topic of digital operation that CCB has researched and formulated the implementation plan of "Digital CCB", and through a series of practical measures, it will continue to make efforts in business operation, customer service, employee empowerment and burden reduction. CCB continues to leverage the Group's strengths and innovate its ability to serve the digital economy through integrated financial services. As of the first half of the year, CCB's loan balance to serve the digital economy has reached 780 billion yuan.
According to the information on the official website, the senior management of CCB is "one principal and five vice-presidents", namely: Zhang Yi, vice chairman, executive director and president, Ji Zhihong, executive director and vice president, Li Yun, vice president, Wang Bing, vice president and secretary of the board of directors, Li Min, vice president, and Li Jianjiang, vice president and chief risk officer. In addition, Chief Information Officer Jin Panshi and Chief Financial Officer Sheng Liu Rong are also on the executive list.
