On September 10, the 2024 undergraduate military training mobilization meeting of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics was held in the stadium. Senior Colonel Zuo Lizhong and Colonel Chang Hong of Unit 32127 of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and Liu Xianfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, attended the meeting. The heads of relevant functional departments of the school, the secretaries and deputy secretaries in charge of student work of each undergraduate training unit, and the counselors of undergraduate freshmen attended the conference.
At the meeting, Liu Xianfeng presented the regimental flag to the 2024 undergraduate military training regiment of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics.
Zuo Lizhong made a mobilization speech for military training. Teng Lechun, Minister of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee and the Armed Forces Department of the school, presided over the meeting and read out the list of the 2024 undergraduate military training regiment of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics.
At the meeting, the student instructors of the 2024 undergraduate military training corps took the oath. Shao Yilin, a student from the Institute of Advanced Economic Research, delivered a speech on behalf of all the freshmen participating in the training.
The military skills training for the 2024 undergraduates of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics lasts for 21 days, and the school's military training leading group will strictly follow the program, scientific training, and civilized training, and simultaneously carry out special educational activities such as the "New Era Patriotism Lecture Hall" national defense special lectures, the "Patriotic Continental Defense" speech contest, and the military skills competition, select outstanding companies and individuals, and effectively enhance the national defense concept, national security awareness and crisis awareness of the freshmen, and improve the national defense quality of the freshmen.
