Looking back at Chang'an

Despite the blazing summer days and the constant floods, they have not stopped us from exploring the outside world. Embarking on the journey of a foreign land again, the eagerness, novelty, amazement and admiration of the past have gradually faded, replaced by a kind of inner peace, calmness, and a deep examination and touch of the world around us.

Taking the train, the second time I went to Xi'an, the first time I went to Xi'an, the situation is still as clear as yesterday. At that time, the epidemic was wandering around like a demon, ruthlessly ravaging the world, and we took advantage of the gap when it subsided, holding on to the luck mentality, and crossed thousands of mountains and rivers. Unexpectedly, our self-confidence and bravery were mercilessly mocked by the virus. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, there was news of the closure of many scenic spots, the closure of the streets, and the national nucleic acid. The virus is like the emotions of many people, starting for no reason and disappearing out of thin air, and we can only trek carefully through this unwarranted disaster.

When the epidemic is no longer intrusive, Xi'an will be as dazzling as it was in the Tang Dynasty. In the past, Xi'an, also known as Chang'an, has precipitated thousands of years of elegance in the long river of history. "Things gather by like, people by groups", I feel more and more that the so-called city is far away from the crops, many people gather, the more people, the bigger the city, the more complicated things, the faster the pace of life, the fewer idlers, the clearer the management, the more orderly.

No matter when and where, women are always the brightest point in the scenery, especially in Chang'an, a city full of Tang Dynasty relics. The women of the north are not as gentle and petite as the women of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, they have strong bones and strong muscles. If the women in the south of the Yangtze River are as graceful as the willows, then the women in the north are more like the tall poplars, showing a different kind of strength and beauty. But no matter what type of woman, once she wears a Tang costume, she will show a graceful posture and a face that captivates the country and the city, which is comparable to the sinking fish and geese and the shy flowers of the closed moon.

Here, three points of appearance and seven points of dress, the ingenious makeup artists dress up the women like hibiscus out of the water, butterflies among the flowers, and the bright moon in the mirror. But good-looking skins are by no means the same, women with different charms will wear the same Tang costume out of a thousand styles, no wonder the ancient emperors wanted to have three palaces, six courtyards, seventy-two concubines, just watch the beauty can prolong life. Looking at the fandel floating in front of me, I can't help but think of the grand scene depicted in Du Mu's "A Fang Gong Fu":

"The star is on the screen, and the makeup mirror is also; The green clouds are disturbed, and the comb is also small; Weiliu is greasy, and fat water is also discarded; The smoke is slanting and the fog is horizontal, and the pepper orchid is also burned. ”

The air is filled with a unique urban atmosphere and rouge fragrance, drowning wave after wave of talented and beautiful people, and the bustling crowd seems to contain the vicissitudes of history, and seems to depict the flood of the times.

Passing through the swaying figure of the woman, I stopped in front of the "Light and Shadow Water Dance Show". According to the narrator, this is the largest fountain show in Asia, and although it is surrounded by a strong fence, it is regularly open to the public free of charge, which is somewhat surprising and surprising. In the context of the implementation of a fee-based reservation system in many places today, such a free feast is rare. As the music plays, the searchlights shimmer like the eyes of a giant spirit, and these lights are intertwined in the air to form a fantastical picture. Sometimes it flutters lightly like a streamer; Sometimes it seems to be a silk mesh intricately intertwined; It is like a jumping note, dancing freely in the air. Sometimes they soar into the sky, sometimes they sweep the ground, or they stretch in parallel, creating a sense of dreamlike wonderland, making people forget the hustle and bustle around them, and even if their clothes are soaked with sweat, they still maintain a sense of peace and tranquility inside.

Looking back at Chang'an

Just as I was immersed in the detachment and dreaminess of light and shadow, the fountain suddenly gushed out, like the throbbing of the heart of the earth, instantly igniting the passion of the audience, and people emitted heartfelt amazement and praise from their chests. The white curtain of water is crystal clear under the light, like a waterfall in a fairyland. They may be like dragons going out to sea, arrogant and uninhibited; or like ten thousand horses galloping, magnificent; or turn into lofty mountains and mountains, majestic and magnificent; It is more like the magic pen in Ma Liang's hand, swaying wantonly in the air, drawing a shocking and magnificent picture. The light and shadow water dance show kicked off with the narrator's sonorous and slightly magnetic voice, and slowly ended in people's extremely shocked and reluctant eyes.

If the light and shadow water dance show is a visual feast, "Song of Long Hatred" is a symphony of souls. The night is low, at the foot of Lishan Mountain, by the Huaqing Pond, the curtain of history is slowly opened, stepping on the thousand-year-old time corridor, we walk into the lingering and sympathetic, love-hate imperial love. On stage, the lighting and water colors complement each other, creating an atmosphere that is both real and dreamy. As the plot progresses, the music is sometimes low and mournful, like rain and dew, telling the inseparable emotional entanglement between Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei; Sometimes it is passionate and high-pitched, like a storm crashing on the shore, showing the glory and prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. When An Lushan led the troops to rebel, it was as if there was a real war, the whole stage was shrouded in a layer of haze, the lights became dim and miserable, and with the slightly demonic language of the narrator, people couldn't help but cry. With their superb acting skills, the actors brought the audience into that magnificent era and shared joys and sorrows with the characters.

"Song of Long Hatred" perfectly combines modern technology with traditional art, and vividly reproduces the poignant story of Bai Juyi's pen in front of the world, it is not only a drama, but also like a flowing historical picture, which not only tells a love story, but also deeply explores the complex relationship between power, desire and human nature. It makes us reflect on how individual emotions and fates have been ruthlessly coerced and changed in the torrent of history. At the same time, we also feel the power of art, which can transcend the boundaries of time and space, touch the softest parts of people's hearts, and let us have a deeper understanding and perception of life, love, and history while appreciating beauty.

Looking back at Chang'an

With the aftermath of "Song of Long Hatred", I caressed the mottled marks on the ancient city wall, each of which seemed to whisper the vicissitudes and glory of the past. The years have carved a deep imprint here, and each piece of blue brick carries a heavy history and story, which makes people involuntarily indulge in this heaviness and profundity. Standing on the city wall and looking back at Chang'an, it is not only a historical monument, but also a cultural treasure house, where every corner hides a moving story, and every piece of land exudes an attractive fragrance, waiting for us to explore and understand.

Traveling is not simply stepping into the life that others may have become accustomed to, but a kind of deep inner exploration and growth, which allows us to eliminate our own narrowness and bigotry from our bones, learn to embrace different cultures, concepts and lifestyles with a broader mind, and learn to look at the world from a more inclusive and broad perspective.
