In order to commemorate the 97th anniversary of the Autumn Harvest Uprising on the Hunan and Jiangxi borders, recall the glorious history of the Autumn Harvest Uprising led by Comrade Mao Zedong, fully excavate, protect and make good use of the precious resources of revolutionary cultural relics, and jointly build a "new highland" for the Autumn Harvest Uprising Alliance. On September 5, 2024, under the guidance of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics) and sponsored by the Tonggu County Party Committee and County Government of the Communist Party of China, the 11th Hunan and Jiangxi Border Autumn Harvest Uprising Memorial Hall (Place) Collaboration Symposium was held in Tonggu County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, with a total of more than 40 experts and scholars attending the symposium.
At the symposium, the heads of the ten museums (places) in the three provinces of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi made a summary speech on the experience and practices of the unit on the protection, utilization and publicity of red resources, and played the micro-party class video of "Crossing a Hundred Years and Re-taking the Road of the Autumn Harvest Uprising" carefully produced by each museum, and jointly planned the specific matters of the 100th anniversary of the Autumn Harvest Uprising on the Hunan and Jiangxi borders in 2027. After the meeting, they also visited the Autumn Harvest Uprising Bronze Drum Memorial Hall, the former site of the Former Enemy Committee of the Autumn Harvest Uprising on the Hunan and Jiangxi borders, the Autumn Harvest Uprising Memorial Scenic Area, the former site of the Third Regiment of the First Division of the First Army of the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army, and the immersive experience center of the Autumn Harvest Uprising.
This symposium was successfully held, giving full play to the role of the Memorial Hall (ground) of the Autumn Harvest Uprising on the border of Hunan and Jiangxi as the main propaganda front, strengthening the communication and contact of the ten museums on the front line, and providing a multi-angle, all-round and high-level development direction for better studying the history of the Autumn Harvest Uprising and polishing the brand of the Autumn Harvest Uprising.
