It is understood that Lin'an is an important main production area of pecans in China, with more than 570,000 acres of pecan forests. In July and August this year, there was plenty of rain in the local area, and the oil accumulation of pecan kernels was relatively good, and the empty shell rate and dark spots were less than in previous years.
Freshly beaten pecans cannot be directly marketed, and need to go through more than a dozen processes such as shelling, floating seeds, drying and drying, and then processed according to different tastes. It will take about 7-10 days from the day of harvest, and it is expected that the first batch of local pecans in Lin'an this year will be available before the Mid-Autumn Festival.
