As an esports legend in the League of Legends field that spans ten years, Uzi is known as "YYDS - Eternal God" in the industry.
- In 2012, he joined the Royal Club (the predecessor of the RNG team) and began his career;
- Then, in 2013 and 2014, Uzi's Royal Club won the runner-up of the League of Legends World Championship for two consecutive times;
- In the following two years, Uzi moved to OMG and QG, and returned to RNG in 2016.
- In 2018, the RNG team won the LPL Spring Tournament, Summer Tournament, Demacia Cup, Mid-Season Cup, and Asian Confrontation Tournament, and Uzi also won the MVP title of all the competitions.
In 2018, Uzi represented Chinese esports at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games and successfully defeated Korea to win the gold medal in the League of Legends event at the Jakarta Asian Games.
But Uzi's body has faced sub-health challenges: weight management, heart health concerns, diabetes risk, and cumulative strain on shoulders, necks and joints have all caused him problems.
On June 3, 2020, Uzi announced the news of his decision to retire on his Weibo. He said that due to perennial stress, obesity, irregular diet, staying up late and other reasons, he was found to have type 2 diabetes during the physical examination, and his physical condition did not allow him to continue to participate in e-sports events due to mental state, complications and hand injuries during the medication.
It is understood that before 2019, the esports legend had never participated in any physical competitive sports until he received professional training and plans to regain his health in recent years. In the process of training, Uzi's physical qualities have improved.
As an esports player with a unique personality, who loves challenges and dares to take risks, Uzi always challenges himself in esports games. Therefore, when faced with the national marathon launched for the first time at this year's Paris Olympics, Uzi did not hesitate to choose to participate in the challenge, and chose the most difficult marathon (42.195km). To complete the full marathon, UZI needed to run a round trip from central Paris to the Palace of Versailles in six hours, and Uzi also wanted to exemplify the spirit of "the winner only overcomes".
