Does honeysuckle water work wonders?
Wash daily
Eczema spreads all over the body
In the early summer of this year, eczema came to report on time again! 2-year-old Yang Yang (not his real name) was tormented, initially suffering from eczema on his face, which gradually spread to his head.
One day, I heard the mother who walked the baby together at night say that there are hormones in the ointment for the treatment of eczema, and there will be side effects if you use too much.

Yangyang's mother was moved, and began to use honeysuckle boiling water to bathe Yangyang once a day in the morning and evening. Ten days have passed, and the child's eczema has not only not subsided, but has spread to the whole body, and even the folds and curved parts such as the elbow socket and knee socket are covered with small red rashes.
On the recommendation of a community health care doctor, Yangyang's mother took him to the Joint Outpatient Clinic for Pediatric Dermatology of the Third People's Hospital of Hangzhou.

Home remedies tend to be less safe
Don't hear the word "hormone".
Just refuse this ointment
Babies who are coated with vegetable oil, olive oil, or even unknown herbs often come to the clinic.
Liu Zehu introduced that eczema is an inflammation that occurs in the superficial layer of the epidermis or dermis. Under the combined action of internal factors and external environmental factors, immune dysfunction and skin barrier damage. And the already damaged eczema skin can't withstand the toss of home remedies.

In particular, infants and young children have imperfect sebaceous glands and sensitive skin. For babies with eczema, slightly more frequent bathing will also make the skin more and more dry, causing skin redness, and even too hot water or excessive use of soap and shower gel, etc., may lead to damage to the barrier function of the skin surface and aggravate the symptoms of eczema.
"The reason why everyone chooses home remedies is that many times they are afraid of the so-called hormone ointment." Liu Zehu explained that topical glucocorticoids are the first-line therapy for the diagnosis and treatment of atopic dermatitis, dermatitis and eczema are graded treatments, and doctors will choose different types of hormones according to the strength of the anti-inflammatory effect of the drug, the location of the patient's lesion, the severity of the disease, etc., to determine the length of medication, and it is very safe to use it according to the doctor's instructions. In addition, it can also be treated through physical therapy, systemic therapy, and a combination of Chinese and Western therapy.

Bathe gently, don't wash too much!
It is recommended to take a bath once a day or every other day, and if there is a condition, it is not recommended to use a bath tool, and you can use your hands to lather.
The water temperature should be controlled at about 32-37°C, and the duration should be about 5-10 minutes. Apply a moisturizer immediately after bathing when the skin is not completely dry (about three minutes).
Moisturizing should be done all year round!
The key to moisturizing is to moisturize in sufficient quantities and often. Moisturize at least 2-3 times a day, increasing the frequency depending on the condition of the skin.
Unlike usual skincare, the "coin-sized" amount is not enough to meet the demand, so you need to rub a generous amount of mild, non-irritating moisturizer and gently massage it in circular motions until absorbed. The recommended weekly dosage for children is not less than 100-150g.
The impact of hair is not great, don't blindly avoid it!
"One size fits all" comes with the risk of malnutrition. When adding complementary foods, it is recommended that the child eat a little at home first, and if there is no obvious reaction, the amount can be gradually increased, introducing other new foods at a rate of one new food every 3-5 days.

If you suspect a food allergy, it is recommended to make a comprehensive judgment by a professional doctor, otherwise it is not recommended to blindly avoid food.
Breathable and comfortable clothing is the first choice!
Try to choose loose, cotton, breathable clothing, not too close to the body, too tight. Wash new clothes as often as possible before putting them on. When doing laundry, choose a detergent that does not contain fragrance or disinfectant ingredients, and rinse off any remaining detergent.
Stay away from irritation and reduce skin irritation!
Common contact allergens are nickel, neomycin, fragrance, formaldehyde, preservatives, lanolin and rubber. It is advisable to avoid contact with the above allergens as much as possible.
At the same time, avoid excessive dryness and high temperature and other stimuli in life, avoid various mechanical and chemical stimuli, such as scratching, friction, woolen fabrics, acids, bleach, etc., and remove the irritation of sweat to the skin in time.
