In January 2020, Wang Lu from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention came to Qiong with the 20th batch of doctoral service groups to serve as the dean of the School of Public Health of Hainan Medical College. On the night of Chinese New Year's Eve last year, when she received the notice to return to Qiongqiong, she booked a ticket to return to Hainan on the second day of the Chinese New Year without saying a word. "The hardest thing to give up at that time was my parents in their 80s, who couldn't spend a good year with them."

"But you can't go far, just around Haikou." Wang Lu said, "Now the epidemic prevention and control cannot be relaxed, and as a disease controller, we must be ready to listen to the party's call at any time." Since the third day of the Chinese New Year, she will return to the position of epidemic prevention and control, and has made a long "work list" for the new year: implement the epidemic prevention and control plan, strengthen the construction of grass-roots forces for disease control, and promote the landing of "all-health" projects in Hainan...

In particular, the global "total health" Hainan demonstration project supported by the World Bank will connect with the most cutting-edge concepts and have important leading demonstration significance for the construction of the free trade port. Years ago, she organized relevant meetings to study and implement tasks in the field of disease control and strive to promote this new topic to blossom in Hainan.
