SOLSTICE is a temporary installation of light and sound designed to celebrate the astronomical alignment that the changing seasons bring to the entire planet. This celebration takes place on the darkest day of the year in our hemisphere, as the Earth's axis of rotation is tilted relative to the Earth's orbit around the Sun and is a tribute to winter when the Northern Hemisphere is far from the central star of our planetary system.
This light and sound installation was first presented outside the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. The music is synchronized, revolving around the "dance of the sun and the universe"; "Forests and Life"; The concepts of "mystery and flora" and "time and cycle".
It's a vibrant, immersive, meditative, and playful art experience. The installation invites the viewer to disconnect from the urban connection and experience the visual and sound rhythms of this unique nature. It is an installation that adapts to different spaces, whether urban or natural, indoor or outdoor.
