Recently, the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued the 2021 Food Safety Sampling Inspection Circular (Phase 27), the notification of a total of 2055 batches of food, involving 670 business entities, a total of 13702 food indicators were tested, found 47 batches of unqualified samples, including 18 batches of unqualified catering food, unqualified items for dehydroacetic acid and its sodium salt, aluminum residues, benzoic acid and its sodium salt, sunset yellow.
The sampling results showed that a total of 15 batches of tea drinks were found to contain the unfit food additive Sunset Yellow. Among them, the sample of "Tai Lu Hand Play lemon tea" sold by the neighborhood lemon tea beverage shop in Longhua District, Shenzhen was detected to have a sunset yellow content of 0.017 (g/kg), the sample of "Treasure Tai Green Citrus King" sold by Xingman Cup Beverage Shop in Longhua District was found to contain sunset yellow 0.0066 (g/kg), the sample of "Thai Cold Herbal Lemon Tea" sold by Wang Ming (Shenzhen) Restaurant Management Co., Ltd. Central Business Building Branch was 0.016 (g/kg), and the "Forgive Lemon Tea" sold by Lin Xiang Lime Beverage Shop in Futian District was "Forgive Lemon Tea" sold by Lin Xiang Lime Beverage Store in Futian District. The sample was detected with a sunset yellow content of 0.016 (g/kg).
