The Ancestral Hall of Chen Duo, the King of Yinling Zhongyi, is also known as the Chen Ancestral Hall, and the Dingyuan County Chronicle records that the ancestral hall is located in the ancient city village of Paoshan Township, thirty-three kilometers northwest of the county seat. The temple is surrounded by the ruins of the ancient Yin Ling City. The temple is a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

The ancient city village, in ancient times, was called Yin ling city. "Dingyuan County Chronicle" and other historical records: Yinling ancient is the land of Huaiyi. During the Warring States period, it belonged to the Chu State, during the Qin Dynasty it belonged to Jiujiang County, and in the Han Dynasty it still belonged to Jiujiang County, and the county administration was located in Yinling.

During the Liang Dynasty of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Dingyuan County was established, and the county administration of the Tang Dynasty was moved to the present-day Dingyuan City. Jiujiang County, a prefecture-level city larger than modern times in ancient times, consists of thirteen counties, reaching the Yangtze River in the south and the Huai River in the north. At that time, Yinling County became the political, economic and cultural center of the region, the birthplace of Yinling culture, and the most prosperous period in history. At the center of the ruins of Yinling City is the ancestral hall of Chen Duo, the king of Yinling Zhongyi, which has been left for thousands of years.
