As the main traffic artery in western Guangdong, the Yangmao Expressway reconstruction and expansion project has attracted much attention from the public. Recently, the reporter learned from the project department that the road surface project of the Yangmao High-speed Reconstruction and Expansion Project has been completed by 90%, and it is expected to be fully completed and opened to traffic by the end of the year.
At the construction site of the Yangmao Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion TJ2 Standard Project, the pavement here has been paved with asphalt, and the main line pavement has completed the construction task. Construction workers are engaged in ranging, pavement marking and other work. According to the relevant person in charge of the project, the barrier of the partition lane has been transformed from the original wave-shaped guardrail to the New Jersey guardrail, and the double wave-shaped guardrail on both sides of the road will also be transformed into a three-wave guardrail, which is currently in the installation stage. The replacement of the guardrail will effectively improve the collision resistance level of the highway, thereby better ensuring the safety of the masses.
Yangmao high-speed reconstruction and expansion of TJ2 standard project manager Tian Tong: now has completed the main line pavement construction task, in order to improve the construction efficiency and quality, our project actively uses new equipment, new technology, the introduction of ultra-wide anti-segregation paver, the use of 19.25 meters full section paving process, paved pavement uniformity, high flatness, and thus ensure the safety and durability of the road and driving comfort. The next step will be to vigorously carry out traffic security, mechanical and electrical, greening and other construction, and synchronously promote the construction of chengcun service area, toll stations and other auxiliary projects, which are expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of this year.
It is understood that the Yangmao Expressway reconstruction and expansion project has a total length of 79.76 kilometers, starting from Baisha Street in Jiangcheng District, Yangjiang City, and ending in Guanzhu Town, Dianbai District, Maoming City, using the standard reconstruction and expansion of two-way 8-lane highway, with a maximum design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The whole project is divided into TJ1-4 bids and 4 sections, at present, the pavement project is 90% complete, and the TJ1, TJ2, TJ4 standard has completed the basic pavement project. After the completion of the project, it will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure in western Guangdong and further open up the traffic artery of western Guangdong's integration into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
