On April 14, Beijing time, the FOURTH DIVISION TEAM OF THE UNITED STATES, CHICAGO PANACINNACOS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED THAT THE TEAM HAD SIGNED FRENCH STRIKER GUIBRILE CISSÉ.
This is the second return of the former France international after retiring, having previously played for a Swedish third-tier league team.
During his playing career, Cisse also played for Panathinaikos in the Greek League, where he made 61 appearances, scoring 47 goals, and was selected for the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa by virtue of his outstanding performances.
Cisse has also played for Liverpool, Marseille, Sunderland, Lazio, QPR and won the 2004–05 Champions League with Liverpool.
For the national team, Cisse represented France in the 2002 and 2010 World Cups, most notably when he was kicked off by Zheng Zhi in a warm-up match with China before the 2006 World Cup.
