The Blue Rainstorm Warning Signal will be issued at 10 a.m. on 3 August 2024
It is expected that from the afternoon to the night of August 3, the city will have heavy precipitation of more than 30 mm of hourly rainfall, and the rainfall of 6 hours in some areas will exceed 50 mm, and the local rainfall in Huairou, Miyun, Pinggu, Changping, Fangshan, Daxing, Tongzhou and other districts will exceed 100 mm.
Defensive Guidance:
(1) Local people's governments at all levels, relevant departments and units shall make preparations for rainstorm prevention in accordance with their duties, inspect the drainage systems of cities, farmland and other important facilities, and make preparations for flood drainage;
(2) Primary school and kindergarten students should be led by adults to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of students and young children;
(3) Drivers should pay attention to road water accumulation and traffic congestion to ensure driving safety;
(4) Pedestrians should not take shelter from the rain or stay under high-rise buildings or large billboards to avoid being injured by falling objects;
(5) Families and individuals should check whether the electrical circuits, stoves and other facilities are safe.
