Ampere's AmpereOne series currently has up to 192 cores, just released last year, 5nm manufacturing process, ARMv8.6+ instruction set, stable frequency up to 3.0GHz, eight-channel DDR5 memory, 128 PCIe 5.0, power consumption range of 200-350W.
In the next step, AmpereOne M will also be upgraded to 5nm, 192 cores, and 12 channels of DDR5 memory, with samples coming out in the fourth quarter of this year.
AmpereOne MX will hit the 256 core, which is also the first in the world, upgraded to 3nm process, and also has 12-channel DDR5 memory, which claims to be more than 40% ahead of other competitors on the market.
The codename of the 512 core is AmpereOne Aurora, and the specific process is not said, it may be Intel 18A, that is, the 1.8nm level, and the two sides have reached a foundry cooperation.
In addition to having more cores and more than 3x faster performance than it is today, it will also integrate Ampere AI IP directly at the hardware level for the first time, as well as high-bandwidth memory for AI inference and training.
At the same time, it also supports scalable grid technology, which can seamlessly connect various types of computing expansion devices.
Don't look at the specifications so fiercely, the energy efficiency is still very high, and it can be satisfied with only air cooling and heat dissipation, without liquid cooling.
In addition, the Ampere Altra series will not be updated, and only 80/128 core models with 8nm 8-channel DDR4 memory will be retained, which will continue to be available until at least 2030.
