Beijing, February 8, 2019 The reporter learned from the organizing committee of the event that the 7th CCTV Lunar New Year Cup World Women's Professional Nine-Ball Championship was broadcast on the CCTV Sports Channel on February 6-7, 2019 (the second and third days of the Chinese New Year). The competition was held in Tianfu Furong Garden, Wuhou District, Chengdu, and finally the Chinese team composed of Pan Xiaoting and Han Yu defeated the international team composed of Jin Jiaying and Ou Sichun by a score of 4:2 to win the Lunar New Year Cup.
The series was launched in 2013 and is now the seventh time it has been held. The annual Billiards New Year Cup is praised by taiwan fans as the "Billiards Spring Festival Gala". The 7th Lunar New Year Cup World Women's Professional Nine-Ball Championship in 2019 is hosted by CCTV Sports Channel and China Billiards Association, and hosted by China Television Sports Entertainment Co., Ltd. and other related institutions.
"9-ball diva" Pan Xiaoting appeared in the Lunar New Year Cup for the seventh consecutive year, teaming up with ST 9-ball World Champion Han Yu to form the Chinese team. South Korea's "Little Witch" Kim Jae-young and Austrian "Cheetah" Jasmin Oschun participated in the Lunar New Year Cup for the 5th and 4th time respectively, and the two joined hands as teammates for the first time to form an international team. The tournament was a creative introduction of a "time-limited system", with each match limited to 45 minutes, and the leading side won at the end of the time.

The first match was played by Han Yu against Jin Jiaying, who won 5 consecutive games by Jin Jiaying with a 2:0 lead, and lost the first game. However, in the following match, Pan Xiaoting first defeated Ou Sichun 5:2, and then partnered with Han Yu to win 5:3 in the doubles match. At the end of the first matchday, China took a 2-1 lead.
The next day, Han Yu and Ou Sichun played a 4-4 draw in 45 minutes, and the first and only penalty shootout of this Year's Cup came. Under pressure, Han Yu hit all two penalties in the first two times, but Ou Sichun did not score a goal, and the Chinese team was invincible 3:1. In the following game, Jin Jiaying defeated Pan Xiaoting 3:2 to help the international team win back a point. In the final doubles match, the Chinese team took a 4:3 lead, Han Yu stopped the No. 9 ball to the mouth of the bag in the 8th set, the international team could have easily equalized, but the moment Han Yu came out of the club 45 minutes time has arrived, the international team lost the opportunity to equalize. In the end, the Chinese team composed of Pan Xiaoting and Han Yu won the championship.
In the annual Lunar New Year Cup, in addition to the fierce 9-goal battle, the talent shows of the beautiful female players are also worth looking forward to. All four beautiful female players are well prepared for this year's talent show. Pan Xiaoting will sing Tianhou Faye's famous song "Human World" and give a wonderful fancy performance after the song is over; Han Yu invited her friends to sing songs such as "Little Luck" and burn them. Jin Jiaying prepared a hot solo dance, and Ou Sichun will perform an Austrian waltz with the show host Jiang Yi to show a ladylike style.
