District leaders carried out "August 1st" visit and condolence activities
On the morning of July 30, Chen Gong, secretary of the district party committee, and Jin Minghui, deputy secretary of the district party committee and head of the district, respectively led a team to carry out the "August 1" visit and condolence activities, cordially visited the officers and soldiers of the army and retired veteran cadres, talked about the deep affection of fish and water, talked about the joint construction of double support, and extended holiday greetings and high respect to them.
At the garrison, Chen Gong had cordial conversations with the officers and men, learned in detail about their work, life, and contingent building, listened attentively to their needs and expectations, and demanded that the subordinate localities and relevant departments do a good job in providing service and support, consolidate and develop the unity between the military and the government and the army and the people in the new era, and write a new chapter in the deep love between fish and water. Chen Gong went to the homes of retired veteran military cadres, chatted with them about their daily routines, chatted with them about their current situation, inquired about their living conditions and physical conditions, thanked them for their contributions to the party and the people, and sent holiday greetings.
