7 billion yuan! Listed companies of central enterprises signed large orders for new energy

Recently, Changyuan Power, a listed company of A-share central enterprises, announced that it had signed a new energy project investment and development cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Songzi City, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, with a total investment of about 7 billion yuan.

According to the announcement, in order to practice the national "double carbon" strategy, give full play to the respective advantages of local governments and enterprises, and jointly promote the development of new energy projects in Songzi City, on July 20, 2024, the Songzi Municipal People's Government and the National Energy Group Changyuan Power Co., Ltd. signed the "National Energy Changyuan Songzi New Energy Project Investment and Development Cooperation Agreement" through friendly consultation in line with the principle of "innovation and efficiency, permanent stability, mutual benefit and win-win, and common development".

The total installed capacity of the new energy projects jointly developed and constructed by the two parties in Songzi City is not less than 1.5 million kilowatts (including no less than 650,000 kilowatts of wind power), with a total investment of about 7 billion yuan. The operation period of the cooperation project is 25 years, which is calculated from the date of grid connection of the project. Changyuan Power strives to start construction of no less than 200,000 kilowatts of new energy projects every year from 2025.

Changyuan Power said that the signing of the agreement will help the company accelerate the development and construction of new energy projects in Songzi City, further increase the proportion of the company's new energy installed capacity, and optimize the power supply structure.
