In order to continue to effectively control the breeding of "rats, mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches", cut off the transmission route of the virus, and protect the life safety and health of the people. On July 15, the Peng'an County Health Office hired a professional technical organization to carry out a half-month concentrated sanitization work focusing on rodent and cockroach extermination in the public environment of the urban area.
The focus of this work is to strengthen the centralized sanitization of rats, mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches in public areas such as urban green belts, parks, squares, public toilets, stations, garbage transfer stations, fruit boxes, farmers' markets, and government agencies. During the work, the staff wore masks, gloves and other protective equipment, put rat poison in strict accordance with the requirements, carried out the "four pests" sanitizing work during the idle time when the flow of people was scarce or the frequency of use of facilities was low, and drug spraying was carried out in key public areas. It is necessary to take multiple measures at the same time, highlight key points, and comprehensively and completely block the possibility of the spread of diseases by the "four pests".
According to statistics, a total of 2 sanitize special vehicles were dispatched for this centralized sanitize work, 15 sprayers of various types were used, and about 1.6 tons of rat poison, more than 40 bottles of cockroach killer and more than 200 bottles of fly killer were consumed.
In the next step, Peng'an County will urge all units to implement the main responsibility and implement the prevention and control of vector organisms. And continue to increase publicity efforts, so that the masses can understand the relevant knowledge of the "four pests" spread diseases, enhance health awareness, and actively participate in environmental remediation. And through this centralized sanitization work, we will eliminate the breeding of vectors in public places in a timely manner, ensure the orderly development of vector biological control work, and create a healthy and clean working and living environment for the broad masses of people.
