Chelsea have the chance to sign for Juventus midfielder De Ligt

The last Champions League champions were intent on strengthening their defensive line-up in the summer and raised their asking price in the final stages of the summer transfer window when they were almost about to sign Jules Comte.
Chelsea were still very interested in Comte, but Sevilla insisted on 80 million euros (£68.5 million), a deal the Premier League club rejected in August.
Tuchel is now exploring alternatives, and De Ligt now has the potential to become the object of Theourist's eager deal.
Juventus claims they are ready to pay £280,000 in wages.
In an interview with Italian media last month, De Ligt's agent Mino Reola made it clear that the Dutch international could be sold next summer.
De Ligt joined Juventus from Ajax for £67.5 million in 2019 and has been working with 37-year-old Giorgio Chiellini this season.
Deregget's contract with Juventus reportedly has a €150 million (£126 million) termination clause, which will come into effect next summer.
