When I see him once a week, he always hides it, why does he always make me feel like an outsider when he is in love?

My life with him has always been accompanied by a sense of distance. I'm busy working in the city, with only one day off a week. He, on the other hand, is in the county, has just finished his exams, and is waiting at home for a new job opportunity. We don't see each other much, usually once a week, but that's enough for me to cherish. Every day off, he would come and pick me up and go home with me.

Yesterday, however, was a little different. He told me that there was something at home and that he couldn't come to pick me up. I understood and told him that it was okay and that I could take the car back by myself. Back home, just in time for my brother's birthday, I sent him a message, but he didn't reply. I started to feel a little lost, but I didn't pay much attention to it.

It wasn't until ten o'clock in the evening that our chat history took a turn. He said he wanted to go to the movies with me. I thought it was a beautiful invitation, but what happened next left me a little confused. He didn't tell me exactly when and where to meet, nor did he ask me if I was available. I tried to question him, but our conversation quickly turned into an argument.

Actually, I didn't want to quarrel with him. But every time he wouldn't tell me anything, he always left me alone to think about it, and it was a really bad feeling. Many times, I felt like an outsider rather than his girlfriend. Our relationship seems to be more and more like two ordinary friends rather than lovers.

I don't know if it's the distance that makes us strangers, or if it's his personality. I just wish he could give me more care and share his life with me. After all, love needs to be managed by both parties.
