From July 15th to 21st, 2024, the finals and performances of the 11th North China Five Provinces (Autonomous Regions) and Cities Dance Competition were held in Beijing, and 200 finalists competed in 5 professional groups and 4 group groups. Among them, the "Dancing Whip Cantanatum", which was created and rehearsed by the Zhangjiakou Mass Art Museum, won the excellent results of the "Silver Award of the Middle-aged and Elderly Group of Qunwen".

In order to thoroughly implement the city's work requirements of "striving for first-class and being a champion", and fully demonstrate the style of Zhangjiakou cultural tourism pioneers of "people's minds are progressive and full of righteousness", the Municipal Mass Art Museum actively prepared and created 5 works of "Dancing Whip Castanets", "Lights Red", "Wangxikou", "Mother's Taste" and "Willow Love on the Dam", and participated in the series of dance activities of "Double Struggle with Me· Dancing Hebei" jointly sponsored by the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Hebei Dancers Association in May 2024—— The 11th Hebei Provincial Dance Competition and the 11th North China Five Provinces (Autonomous Regions) and Cities Dance Competition, and won 3 first prizes in the middle-aged and elderly groups and 2 first prizes in the amateur youth group.

"Red Lights" The North China Dance Competition is a regional dance competition co-sponsored by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei Province, Shanxi Province, and Inner Mongolia, and co-organized by the Dancers Association. Zhangjiakou City has participated in four consecutive competitions, all of which have achieved good results, prospering dance creation, cultivating dance art talents, popularizing dance quality education, and contributing to the development of the city's dance industry.
