Integrating intangible cultural heritage art into dance is the dream of Li Han, director of the Art Performance and Communication Teaching and Research Department of the School of Art and Design of Shonan Preschool Normal College (hereinafter referred to as "Shonan Preschool College"). As one of the main creators of the dance "Spelling "Live Broadcast", she often wanders to museums and cultural centers to find creative inspiration, and still remembers the heart-pounding situation when she first encountered patchwork embroidery many years ago: "I am amazed by this art, the whole production process is very danceable, and we want to give more life to this art." In her view, the patchwork embroidery displayed in the glass cabinet should dance on the stage of contemporary art, presenting a three-dimensional "come alive" to highlight the characteristics of ancient Lingnan culture.

"We were impressed by the innocence of the local children and their love for traditional culture, and we skillfully incorporated elements of nursery rhymes and local dialects into the dance audio production. During the whole creation and rehearsal period, Mr. He Juan, the inheritor of the Dabujiang patchwork embroidery intangible cultural heritage project, as well as Mr. Jiang Liqiu, the Yongxing Cultural Center and Mr. Jiang Liqiu, gave us a lot of support and help for the dance structure, basic creation and program direction, which laid a solid foundation for the subsequent creation. Li Han said.

From the entries lying in the mobile phone, to the preparation for the provincial mass art show, and then to the 10th anniversary celebration meeting of the 64-year junior college education in Xiangnan, the entire creation and rehearsal process of "Spelling "Live Broadcast" was not achieved overnight, it lasted more than half a year, and it was not created until November 2023, during which it was accompanied by repeated polishing and adjustment.

The teacher helped me adjust my movements little by little and let me learn how to be an anchor. Later, muscle memory is formed, and this action can be regarded as 'easy to do'. ”

The leadership of the college attaches great importance to the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage, and provides support in the process of dance creation, such as rehearsal venues, equipment technology, and business guidance. "In the future, the school will continue to explore more intangible cultural heritage items with local characteristics, and inherit and innovate through art, education and other forms." Li Yanhong, dean of the School of Art and Design, said.

Cao Chenlu, director of the Dance Teaching and Research Department of the College of Art and Design, told reporters that as a college teacher, he devoted more attention to the excavation of the integration of intangible cultural heritage and dance.
